Slurpable Smoothies

 

Classification: GREEN

Smoothies are a super-easy way of jazzing-up milk and for sneaking in an extra serving of fruit. All you need is a hand-held bar mixer or blender and a-whizz you go!

Banana & mixed berry smoothie

Serves 6 (250ml) cups

Ingredients

Bananas               2 medium

Mixed berries    1 cup

(if using frozen, source from Australia)

Reduced fat milk              1 cup

Reduced fat plain yoghurt            1 cup

Method

1. Place all ingredients in a tall container (or blender).

2. Blend until smooth.

3. Divide into cups.


Choc-banana smoothie 

Serves 4 (250ml) cups

Ingredients

Bananas               2 medium

Milo       2 tbsp

reduced fat vanilla yoghurt          1 1/2 cups

reduced fat milk               2 cups

Method

1. Place all ingredients in a tall container (or blender).

2. Blend until smooth.

3. Divide into cups.

Mango smoothie 

Serves 6 (250ml) cups

Frozen mango   500g 

Reduced fat milk              2 cups

Reduced fat creamy vanilla yoghurt         2 cups

Method

1. Place all ingredients in a tall container (or blender).

2. Blend until smooth.
