Apple crumble yoghurt

Serves 12

Ingredients

Reduced fat plain yoghurt            1.2kg

Canned pie apple             2 cups

Untoasted or natural style muesli, or rolled oats            2 cups

Plastic cups         12

Disposable spoons          12


Method

1. Spoon 100g (abut 6 tablespoons) of yoghurt into each cup.

2. Top each cup with 2 tablespoons pie apple and 2 tablespoons of muesli.

3. Keep in fridge until time to serve.

4. Serve with a spoon.

Apple Jaffle

Serves 10

Ingredients

Raisin bread       10 slices

Unsweetened pie apple, canned                              1 x 400g can

Reduced fat custard       250ml   

Canola oil spray (only if needed to prevent sticking)


Method

Pre heat sandwich or jaffle maker.

If needed, lightly spray one side of each slice of raisin bread with canola oil.

Place two tablespoons of the pie apple and one tablespoon of custard on the unsprayed slice of raisin bread. Place other slice of raisin bread unsprayed down on top.

Place in a pre-heated sandwich maker, with the canola sprayed side of bread on the outside. Press to seal and toast.

Serve half a jaffle sandwich on a serviette or in a paper bag.
